C8 Corvette GT Hood Carbon Fiber
Designed with endurance racing-style vents, That open to non trunk area under the hood and constructed from lightweight, top-grade 3K, 2×2 twill carbon fiber cloth, the C8 Corvette GT Hood Carbon Fiber offers a gloss finish. Installs with original equipment hardware for secure mounting, the hood weighs in at about 9 lbs. (by comparison, the OEM hood weighs 15.7 lbs.), Hood pins and a heat shield are reccomended for safety. Finally, Anderson Composites does not suggest installing aftermarket gas shocks/dampers/struts, and the use of a hood prop rod is advised.
